If you hear the fan start and notice a burnt electronic smell, this is normal and indicates the machine is working correctly.
Why does this occur?
- When the internal temperature goes above 60°C, the fan activates to release heat. The smell comes from the heat-blocking cover of our high-efficiency flow heater.
- The heater can reach up to 230°C briefly at the start of frothing and then stabilizes at 150°C to ensure stable steam performance.
Are there any issues with material safety?
- The heat cover is made from PA66 (30% glass fiber) with a melting point of 255°C, making it safe.
What should I do next?
- The smell will reduce over time as you use the machine.
