Vibrations or cup shifting during brew

Should you experience cup shifting during your brew, it might be due to a couple of reasons:

1. Unstable Surface

Using your Machine on an unstable or hollow surface may accentuate vibrations during brewing that result in cup-shifting. Please try using the Machine on a more stable countertop and see if it resolves the issue.

2. Extra Rubber Base Pads

You Machine should have 7 rubber base pads in total. It is normal that the rear pad holders on the Machine scale are empty (pictured below). If not, please remove the pads and it should minimise surface contact points and resolve the issue.

3. Water Tank Clip

For Machines from our first production run, we've developed a plastic clip that holds the water tank lid in place and lessens vibrations during brew. Customers who ordered their Machine via our 2020 Kickstarter campaign or purchase machines from our first production run before Aug'21 are entitled to receive this complimentary clip (shipping and relevant taxes may apply).
